What you need for 4K IPTV: the complete checklist
A 4K channel only looks like 4K when every link in the chain supports it. Go through this list and you will get the sharpest picture Magic4k can deliver.
1. A 4K television
Your TV must have a 4K (3840×2160) panel. Most TVs sold in the last few years do, but check the model if you are not sure.
2. A 4K-capable player
Older streaming sticks often stop at Full HD. For 4K choose a Fire TV Stick 4K / 4K Max, a recent Android TV box, or a smart TV app that supports 4K playback.
3. Enough internet speed
| Quality | Recommended speed |
|---|---|
| HD | 10–15 Mbps |
| Full HD | 15–20 Mbps |
| 4K | 25 Mbps or more |
Measure the speed on the device itself, not on your phone next to the router.
4. A stable connection
4K needs a steady stream. A network cable or a good mesh Wi-Fi system makes a big difference compared with a single router at the other end of the house.
5. The right HDMI port and cable
Plug your stick or box into an HDMI port that supports 4K (often labelled HDMI 2.0 or with “4K”), using a high-speed HDMI cable.
6. App settings
In your IPTV app, select the hardware video decoder and, if available, the 4K category in your Magic4k channel list.
